The spacious double room at Raksi in Cesis was absolutely amazing! It had a private entrance, which made us feel like we had our own little place. The tea and coffee maker was a nice touch, and the shared bathroom was clean and had both a bath and a shower. We loved the homely feel of the room, and it was perfect for our family holiday.
The only downside for me was the shared bathroom. It was a minor inconvenience, but some people might prefer having a private bathroom.

We had a blast hanging out with the humongous Poitou donkeys from France, going on carriage rides with them. It was like something out of a fairytale! And let me tell you, taking a swim in the trout pond was the coolest thing ever. The water was so clear and refreshing. And who can forget about our walks with the llamas? They were so chill and we had the best time bonding with them. our adventure at Raksi was totally lit!
The only thing we wished for was more nightlife options for young party animals like us. The hotel had a chill vibe, but it would've been awesome if they had organized some parties or events for us to let loose and have a great time.

Spacious Double Room: I was pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of the double room. It felt like stepping into a realm of comfort and luxury, with a private entrance that made me feel like a VIP arriving at a grand event. The tea and coffee maker provided a touch of convenience, and the shared bathroom, equipped with a bath or shower and a hairdryer, was clean and well-maintained.
Thin walls.

My recent stay at Raksi was wonderful. The atmosphere of the place was very nice, with a common rest space that had comfortable sofas, coffee, and even cold water.

We had the craziest time with our friends, taking rides in carriages pulled by these massive Poitou donkeys, it was seriously epic! And then we decided to be adventurous and jump into the trout pond for a swim. It was freezing but totally worth it! Oh, and how can I forget about the llama walks? We strutted around like we owned the place with those adorable furry creatures. Best. Time. Ever!
If I had to ask for one thing, it would be for some more wild and exciting activities for us young party animals. Don't get me wrong, Raksi had awesome options for families, but we needed that extra kick of adrenaline.

The hotel, located in the middle of the forest, provides a serene and quiet atmosphere. Guests can interact with and feed friendly animals even after hours. The well-designed bedrooms and comfortable shared living room ensure a pleasant stay. The opportunity to witness the amazing night sky and stars is an added bonus. The nearby town is easily accessible.

I absolutely loved the cozy and charming decoration of the wooden houses at this hotel. The rustic atmosphere made me feel right at home. The general areas were clean, tidy, and well-maintained. As a senior woman, I appreciated the accessibility of the hotel, with no stairs to climb and everything easily reachable on the ground floor.
I would have loved a more relaxed pace during my vacation. The children working there seemed a bit hurried and busy, and I would have preferred a more leisurely experience.
